Company 650 was dispatched to assist Orwin fire Company on a structure fire at 410 Dietrich Ave. Res/Eng responded with 10, and Tanker with 2. Res/Eng 650 layed 300 ft of supply line to the rear of the structure and assisted in protecting exposures as well as attacking the fire. Res/Eng also supplied Eng. 66-10 (Tower City). Tanker 650 went to
the dump site at Eng 647(Sheridan) also at the rear of the structure. Eng 655(Orwin) and Truck 22( Lykens) were at the front of the structure. Due to the quick deterioration of the structure we went to a defensive mode on this fire. Approximately 100 firefighters from Schuylkill and Dauphin Counties assisted.
